How to choose the right alternative
- Car seats: check your child's height against the seat's range (for example 40–105 cm or 76–140 cm), and whether your car has ISOFIX or you will fit the seat with the seat belt. All the seats above meet the R129 i-Size standard, except where stated.
- Prams and pushchairs: think about the folded size for your car boot, whether you need a seat from birth, and whether you want to add a car seat as a travel system.
- Travel: airlines set their own cabin rules, so check before you book.
